Musée du Louvre in Paris and Palace Museum in Beijing organized a "Napoleon" exhibition consisting of 130 artworks. The exhibition was also featured in the "Forbidden City" in Beijing.
The works of art included 12 paintings (one that was 280 x 230 cm or 9 feet x 7.5 feet), 20 drawings, 30 sculptures (one weighing over 950 kg or a ton) and 80 more pieces including crockery, a clock and furniture. The collection is valued at over EUR 25 million (about US $38.7 million).
The organizers entrusted Crown Fine Arts in Paris with all the packing, handling and shipping. Crown China constructed customized crates to safely transport the large and heavy artworks and conducted a trial transport into the Palace Museum. The Crown teams also managed transport to the airports, as well as courier and customs assistance.
