Event: Treasure—a gift from Ocean Partners, New York to Erdenet Mining Corporation in Mongolia

Place: Mongolia

Through a joint effort, Crown Washington DC and Crown Mongolia completed its first fine arts delivery. The work in question was a sculpture in the form of a horse, Treasure—a gift from Ocean Partners, NY, to Erdenet Mining Corporation.

The artwork's destination was Mongolia, where Crown Mongolia received and stored it for approximately two and a half months before making the final delivery to the client.

Because of the excellent work on the part of the Mongolia team, once the statue got there, the whole process of storing, packing and transporting went very smoothly and the delicate artwork was delivered in mint condition.

Ocean Partners is a company that provides trading services to miners, smelters, and refiners. Erdenet is the second-largest city in Mongolia and capital of the Aimag (province) of Orkhon. The artist, Karen Aneiro, is an accomplished artist who is fascinated with horses and whose work frequently features them.
