A first for the fine art handling worldMarch 24, 2016
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve become the first and only international fine art handling company to achieve a full set of internationally recognized “standard” certificates.
This recognition demonstrates our commitment as being a customer-focused, environmentally-friendly business with first-rate health and safety and information security credentials.
We’ve been awarded ISO 9001, 14000 and 27001:2013 as well as BS OHSAS 18001. This achievement coincides with the opening of our new purpose-built facility – Art Central –close to central London.
The certificates – awarded by the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) and British Standards Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification (BS OHSAS) – evidence the following:
- ISO 9001 indicates strong customer focus with a dedication to continual improvement.
- ISO 14000 provides assurance that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
- ISO 27001:2013 specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.
- BS OHSAS 18001 helps you put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed for your organization to achieve the best possible working conditions, aligned to internationally recognized best practice.
David Preston, General Manager at Crown Fine Art, said: “To get this seal of legitimacy is a proud achievement and I’d like to thank staff for their hard work which made this possible. We are looking forward to informing clients of this achievement and continuing to provide high quality and secure services to the UK art market.”
