Crown Fine Art builds a stronger presence in South AfricaJuly 18, 2014
Leon Thom, Crown's Fine Art Manager - Africa, was recently invited to become a board member at the prestigious Pretoria Arts Association.
The voluntary, non-profit, premier association holds over 30 exhibitions every year, attended on average, by 500 to 1,000 visitors per month.
Leon's new role will see him responsible for the logistics of projects and exhibitions held this year - the foundation of our business: packing and transporting valuable works of art.
He will also open a number of exhibitions and sit on the selection committee for all the art that will be exhibited at the association's gallery.
This new arrangement means Crown will have the opportunity to showcase its services and expertise to art lovers in Pretoria and the Guateng Province.
Crown's relationship with the South African Association of Arts means as an organization we are able to expand our network among art lovers, collectors and galleries in South Africa and abroad. Last year Crown packed and transported some valuable paintings from Cape Town to Pretoria for an exhibition in Mechano Black and shipped two valuable bronze statues for a client to Singapore, which were purchased at the "Four Woman" exhibition at the gallery of the association.
