David Giles and Wayne Sewsanker join our growing teamApril 10, 2015
We’re very pleased to welcome David Giles, formerly of Momart and Wayne Sewsanker, formerly of Bonhams and Butterfields, to the team. The pair have taken the joint position of Operations Manager; David is responsible for airport operations, while Wayne will lead the warehouse and transport operations.
David and Wayne will ensure all Crown Fine Art operational needs in the UK and Ireland are met, and make certain that works of art and museum artefacts are transported in a safe and efficient manner.
Before David joined the Crown team, he spent nine years at Momart as an Airport Operations Supervisor. His previous experience also includes 10 years working as Cargo Operations and Sales Manager for Continental Airlines.
David said: “This is an exciting time to join Crown Fine Art. The company has ambitious plans and with its private ownership and global network it’s quite a special offer to clients. I’m also looking forward to drawing on my experience in fine art handling to enhance the service still further and help take the company to the next chapter in its growth.”
Wayne spent 18 years at prestigious auction house Bonhams, where he most recently held the position of Transport and Warehouse Manager.
Wayne commented: “Crown Fine Art holds a unique position in the market. I’ll be joining a fantastic team and a business with a truly international culture and outlook. I’m very much looking forward to working alongside David and the team to help shape the business as it evolves in the coming years.”
David and Wayne are both based in the London offices and report to David Preston, General Manager, Crown Fine Art.
