Munch-Van Gogh exhibition, AmsterdamOctober 1, 2015
The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam is now proudly displaying the beautiful Munch-Van Gogh exhibition by Queen Sonia of Norway and Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands.
The exhibition explores the parallels between the two iconic artists: Vincent van Gogh and Edvard Munch, presenting the many masterpieces from all over the world, including ‘The scream’ and 'Starry night over the Rhone'. Their visions on life and art are closely related, despite the fact that they never met. Their work is colorful, intense, expressive and radical. Their lives are remarkably similar in many ways.
We are extremely proud to have cooperated with both the Van Gogh museum and the Munch Museum in Oslo to bring together more than 100 artworks for this magnificent exhibition to the Netherlands.
The exhibition will be open to the public through January 17, 2016.
