New Parisian drawing, painting and sculpture fair

September 7, 2017

Fine Art Paris to open doors for the first time in November

A new art fair is coming to Paris this fall after a reshuffle at the Palais Brongniart. Fine Arts Paris will open its doors for the first time on November 8 through to November 12.

Exhibitor: Galerie de Bayser - France

The organisers of the successful Salon du Dessin (Drawing Fair) are behind the inaugural Fine Arts Paris fair which will combine the three major disciplines of drawing, painting and sculpture. 34 internationally renowned galleries will be showing pieces dating from the 16th century to the present day.

The organisers behind Fine Art Paris say, “diversity and quality are the hallmarks of this new fair, whether in media, periods, subjects on view, but also budgets because museum quality works exhibited by major galleries can be shown alongside “discoveries” by young dealers presented at lower prices.”

The new art fair fills the gap left by the European Old Masters Paris Tableau, which left the Palais Brongniart venue two years ago. In 2016, the fair instead participated in the overhauled Biennale des Antiquaires and this year, it looked internationally for a new venue and turned to Brussels.
