On September 4, the Queen Elizabeth Conference Center in Westminster (London) will host "The Art Business Conference" - a new one-day conference organized by Art Market Minds for art galleries, auctioneers, collectors and art market professionals looking to discuss the key issues affecting business operations.
Through Q&A panel discussions and workshops, industry experts will share insight on the international art market - from best-practice in shipping to the latest in legislation.
Keynote speaker, Fred Weijgertse, Managing Director of Crown Fine Art, will discuss the growth of the Chinese art market and the complications in doing business with the region. Fred will reveal what it took for Crown to get a foothold in China and the kind of work Crown Fine Art has successfully completed - including the Rembrandt exhibition which toured from Amsterdam to Shanghai.

In addition, on September 5, the UK Registrars Group (UKRG) will present: "From the Outside, Looking In: Working with Registrars", at the Tate Britain.
Attendees will hear from a range of speakers who work with registrars on a regular basis, including Crown Fine Art's Museums and Exhibitions Manager, Michel Letendrie. Michel will discuss the relationship between the registrar and the shipping agent.
