The largest urban zone in the European Union, London is a creative capital with an eventful past and a vibrant present.

The city is home to art and antiquities of every period and contemporary art of every category. As many as 300 languages are spoken within its boundaries, so influences from a lot of cultures are present.

The British Museum, the National Gallery and the Tate are London's best known museums, and the breadth of their collections makes them much in demand for exhibitions with other museums all over the world.
