Our trainee scheme is back

July 29, 2016
We're looking for a London-based apprentice who wants to learn and develop the skills required to become an accomplished art technician.

In the role, the trainee will learn and develop skills in the handling and packing of fine art. They’ll also increase knowledge and understanding of logistics relating to the storage and transportation of fine arts and artefacts.

The overall goal is to provide a structured training and mentoring program which will ultimately see the individual become a skilled technician and a key member of the organisation as the business grows.

The role will mainly be based at Crown Fine Art’s purpose-built hi-tech facility Art Central based in London, which opened last year. However, it will also involve working at museums, galleries, auction houses and at the property of private collectors.

David Preston, General Manager at Crown Fine Art, said: “Due to the success of our previous apprentices – who have proved a real asset to the team – we are once again recruiting. This is an opportunity for a budding art technician to receive the training, resources and experience needed to progress within this varied, challenging and ultimately rewarding line of work.”
