Over several months Crown Fine Art Dubai co- ordinated with the World Photo Organization to orchestrate the collection, shipping and installation of hundreds of photographs from around the globe. These photos make up the contents of one of the world’s most prestigious photo exhibitions, created by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA).
Starting bright and early at 7:00am on the 12th March the Crown Fine Art team began the install of over 800 photographs, working until 10:00pm that evening and returning early the next day to continue the process. By the afternoon of the 15th of March all works were in their rightful positions ready to be viewed by the large number of visitors expected for the exhibitions duration.
Featuring museum-quality 20th and 21st century photographic works, the exhibition was held at the Dubai Design District from the 16th to the 19th of March 2016. From tiny prints to full wall mosaics visitors were welcome to view a variety of unprecedented photography, brought together from 23 different countries. Both colour and black and white works were on show to celebrate diversity and unity between cultures from across the world.
Once the exhibit reached its final day the Crown Fine Art team returned to the D3 site for the de-install. Crown will also be responsible for the safe return of all the photographs back to their countries of origin.
