Picasso and Spanish Modernity, a major modern art event devoted to one of the greatest masters of 20th century painting, was held in 2015 at The Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, Italy. The exhibition presented a broad selection of works by this great master of modern art in an effort to stimulate a reflection on his influence and interaction with leading Spanish artists.

Some ninety works by Picasso and other artists were displayed, ranging from painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving and film. Also included in the exhibition were Picasso’s drawings, engravings and preparatory paintings for his huge masterpiece Guernica – none of which have been displayed outside Spain in such vast numbers before now. Celebrated masterpieces included Picasso’s Woman’s Head, Portrait of Dora Maar and The Painter and the Model, Miró’s Siurana, the Path and Figure and Bird in the Night and Dalí’s Harlequin.
Crown Fine Art Italy unpacked and installed 90 items including drawings, sculptures, paintings of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalì and Joan Mirò. They organized fine art formalities, armed escorts and courier coordination.
