Crown Fine Art Russia completes exhibition project for Russian Art Museum during COVID-19 pandemic

Crown Fine Art Russia recently completed an exhibition project for the All Russian Decorative Art Museum, despite the ongong COVID-19 pandemic. We were requierd to ship the expo from Moscow, Russia to Yerevan, Armenia, in October 2019, and then return it to Moscow in March 2020.

During the project, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, meaning that both the borders and museums were closed, and the expo return was postponed. Furhtermore, political issues in September 2020 led to museums in Yerevan evacuating art from the city.

Our client, All Russian Decorative Art Museum, secured special permission from the government to send their museum curators to Armenia, in order to return the expo to Moscow, notwithstanding the fact that borders between Russia and Armenia were still closed.

The All Russian Decorative Art Museum asked us to organise an urgent shipment of the expo from Yerevan to Moscow. We got the air tickets for the museum curators, organised their travel and accommodation in Yerevan, and then booked and secured the air freight from Yerevan to Moscow. Upon the arrival to Moscow, we completed the customs, and delivered the art objects to our client with a security escort.

Although the second part of the project was postponed due to the pandemic, we did complete the project according to the clients' urgent request and fully met their expectations.
