Dubai Moving Images Museum

The items were so delicate, immense care was taken when being handled to ensure they were kept in excellent condition.
Our team in Dubai had the pleasure of working with a collection being transported to the Academy of Motion Pictures in the heart of Los Angeles.

The collection was being displayed at the Moving Images Museum in Dubai and included rare items such as magic lanterns, zoetropes, cameras and photographic memorabilia, all from different parts of the world including Europe, America and Asia.

The items were so delicate, immense care was taken when being handled to ensure they were kept in excellent condition. Our highly trained team used white glove expertise service and specific packing material required for such fragile items.

Ross Auerbach, a Registrar from the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures commented: “I approached Crown Fine Art Services to handle my complex shipment because of their sterling reputation and competitive rates. Packing more than 200 objects for shipment to the United States in less than a week was a challenge, but working with the team from Crown was a pleasure.”

“The management, team leaders, and art handlers were professional, efficient, and flexible. As a result, we were able to pack the objects into fewer crates, shrinking the overall footprint of the cargo and saving my company costs overall. With last minute changes to the schedule, Crown was able to formulate a plan, adjust the timing, and ensure that the crates were safely packed and loaded for transport. I would recommend Crown’s services to anyone in need of a project well done.”

Everyone involved with this special project, from the origin to destination, were very complementary of our services – we were very pleased to play a part.
