Unveiling the treasures from Sacred Hill

Crown Fine Art provided a smooth, efficient logistics and customized packing to ensure the safe delivery of the precious exhibiting pieces.
Crown Fine Art Hong Kong has been appointed by The Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) of HKSAR to crate, pack, install and provide project management services for the Treasures from Sacred Hill exhibition. Featuring the archaeological discoveries made in recent years, the exhibition “Treasures from Sacred Hill: Song-Yuan Period Archaeological Discoveries from Kai Tak” exemplifies Hong Kong's maritime trade connections.

Following the closure of Kai Tak Airport in 1998, the planning work for the Kai Tak Development Area created opportunities for archaeological studies around the former Sacred Hill in today's Kowloon Bay. An abundance of cultural remains of the Song-Yuan period were unearthed, including a huge amount of ceramics produced by various kilns in Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangxi. The exhibition features Hong Kong's economic development, maritime trade and people's way of life in the neighbourhood.

Crown Fine Art provided a smooth, efficient logistics and customized packing to ensure the safe delivery of the precious exhibiting pieces. Every piece of specimen was handled with utmost care and devotion. In addition, our team worked together with the museum representatives, to organise and install the works in the best possible way and in the required time. Our professional and efficient services are appreciated by the curator. We are grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to such important work and to collaborate with AMO again. We look forward to a continued relationship, and the impact this partnership will have on fostering public awareness of Hong Kong's heritage.
